Have you been face-to-face with a wolf before? Or have you walked alongside a deer? You can experience all of this in the Klotten wildlife park. You can let off steam in the leisure park on massive trampolines, water slides, roller coasters and much more.

If you meet some shy animals on a trip to the woods or countryside they generally run away (if you see any at all!!!); but that is not the case at the Hunsrück wildlife conservation park! The forest animals approach you and let themselves be stroked and fed. A fascinating experience!

What about the wild animals? They are kept behind fences and its better not to touch them!

The butterfly garden at Sayn castle is located in a royal castle park. You are taken into a little magical tropical world with palm trees and banana plants, burbling waterfalls and a large collection of colourful and exotic butterflies.

Have you been eye-to-eye with a golden eagle or white-tailed eagle before? Or explored the soft feathers of an eagle owl? Will you keep your nerve when a gyrfalcon flies just over your head? A visit to Burg Maus is always remembered as an impressive experience.

Situated in the middle of the town woods of Koblenz on the left of the Rhine, Remstecken (320 m above sea level) is one of the most popular recreation areas in the region. You can watch and feed the red, fallow, sika and black deer. A visit to the pond is also exciting. You can watch dragonflies, frogs, toads, mallard ducks and mandarin ducks playing around. Other attractions include a pony ride through the wildlife park grounds and the adventure forest playground.

The various aspects of nature are waiting for you here. The park is actually a massive forest with brooks, clearings and thickets. You can experience wild red deer and fallow deer, moufflons, wild boars and much more in their natural habitat. A massive playground will also impress: climbing frame, pirate ship, tower and more.

At Neuwied zoo around 1200 animals and 155 different species welcome you in a total area of 13.5 ha. Experience animals close up in generous open air areas.
