Rhine-Moselle Schinderhannes

The Rhine, Moselle and Hunsrück in Four Days

1st Day: Introductory Tour
Explore the area and the surroundings on your own.

2nd Day: Loreley Tour
from Hunsrück to the Rhine (44 km)
On the Schinderhannes cycle path to Pfalzfeld, down through the romantic Niederbach Valley to Oberwesel/Rhine. Pass by the legendary Loreley („I do not know, what does it mean"), to reach St. Goar. View the Rheinfels castle, the largest castle in the Central Rhine, and enjoy the wonderful views into the valley. There is a reason why the Central Rhine Valley was acknowledged as a UNESCO world heritage site. The journey carries on to Boppard, the jewel of the Rhine. The Hunsrück Railway brings you back on one of the steepest railway tracks in Europe.
