In the main season, the Hunsrück Railway travels daily between Boppard and Emmelshausen every hour. The railway, which is in fact the steepest railway north of the Alps, is particularly popular with cyclists who appreciate the comfortable opportunity to transport their bikes after a tour in the Rhine Valley.
